INTERNAL ONLY POSTING FOR CURRENT PERMANENT, TIME-LIMITED, OR LAYOFF PRIORITY EMPLOYEES OF UNC-CHAPEL HILL
The person in this position(s) will be responsible for: training outreach; registration; tracking capacity of future events; web co-hosting events in support of the faculty trainer; scouting locations; and performing on-site administration of the program (once state stay at home orders are lifted).
This position(s) will also be responsible for correspondence with training participants, utilizing our learning management program to track training completion and evaluation, and preparing training reports. The person in the position will be responsible for 2-3 events per week.
Duties & Responsibilities
50% – Provide on-site registration and event hosting duties, representing BHS in a professional and customer-oriented manner. Serve as primary liaison with event trainer(s), ensuring all supplies, materials, and A/V equipment are secured and in proper working order. Provide web cohosting and virtual facilitator support using zoom, Adobe Connect, and other webinar platforms.
20% – Carryout events according to established timelines, collaborating with relevant BHS team and external stakeholders, speakers and vendors to ensure priorities are communicated clearly and effectively. Ensure an overall attitude of customer service and support is conveyed in all communication.
15% – Provide end-user support to registrants and prospects to ensure smooth registration and access to all materials
10% – Perform data entry and analysis regarding use of marketing tools, managing capacity of events, tracking registration and fees, reporting on participant evaluation and attendance at each event.
5% – Scout potential training venues and work collaboratively with BHS staff on securing vendor contracts as needed.
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
•Must be comfortable with public speaking

•Computer skills proficient to use programs such as: Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
•Current NC driver’s license
