Department The Learning Systems Institute (LSI) is a multidisciplinary research and development organization that examines critical challenges facing our world and designs innovative strategies to address them. Using a big picture approach that analyzes problems in all their complexity, LSI faculty formulate and implement solutions for a wide variety of funding agencies, including government, schools, businesses, the military and others. FSU's Equal Opportunity Statement can be viewed at: Coordinates all Human Resource activities for LSI and its umbrella branches and serves as a liaison between LSI and FSU's Human Resource department.
Coordinates appointments for multiple grants at LSI main office.
Provides HR support for Faculty at LSI main office.
Reviews and approves all HR personnel actions for LSI and its umbrella branches.
Coordinates all Effort Reports (FACET).
Provides support for other HR representatives within LSI.
Updates and disseminates information regarding Federal, State, and FSU policies and procedures.
Provides administrative support to the LSI Director, Associate Director, and Assistant Director and assists in general administration of departmental activities.Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years of full time experience related to the duties of this position; or a high school diploma or equivalency and six years of experience related to the duties of this position.

(Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Knowledge of applicable computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Outlook).

Experience and/or knowledge of Human Resources operations and practices.

Experience working in a professional office setting.

Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Ability to train and employees.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and have a collaborative working style.
