It also provides administrative support to departmental staff and administration as needed.

Serves as requestor and receiver for goods and services for all departmental funding sources. Works in OMNI and directly with vendors insuring compliance with applicable laws, policies and procedures of the State of Florida and Florida State University.

Serves as travel representative for the Department of Art, coordinating faculty, staff, and guest travel for the Department. Utilizes travel card when possible, and processes non-travel reimbursements.

In support of college and departmental administration, serves as the departmental contact for the SPCI evaluations, assigns course textbooks in Course Schedule Master, and collects & maintains syllabi for all current courses.

Reports and tracks expenditures on Student Course fees, Equipment fees, E&G and other special budgetary categories in the appropriate systems, software, or spreadsheets. Serves as PCard proxy for Administrative Specialist.

Provides departmental support including the following: Coordination of meetings & events, office coverage, and monitoring office supplies.

Serves as Inventory Taker for the Department of Art.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency and two years experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to two years.

Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.

Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Experience performing accurately in a detail oriented environment.

Experience prioritizing, organizing and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and etiquette.

Experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other applicable computer applications.Anticipated Salary Range Low to mid 20,000.00's, commensurate with education and experience. This position is 3/4 time (30 hours per week).Pay Plan This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.Schedule This position is 0.75 FTE (30 hours per week). Schedule to be determined.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
