MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: include the following
(30%) Faculty Housing - Oversee operations of Faculty Housing staff and program - Assist with rental agreements and tenant issues - Establish rents and rent strategies for units - Establish faculty housing policies and strategies - Provide quality customer service to tenants.
(20%) Student Housing Revenue - Collaborate with Res. Life on occupancy of student housing and revenues - Establish housing rates and pricing strategies for student housing - Help facilitate processes for student rents and fees collection - Track and account for all student housing revenues.
(10%) Loan Obligations - Manage facility loan repayments on all student and faculty housing facilities - Plan reserves and expenditures to meet short and long term obligations.
(30%) Capital Facility Planning - Plan and manage funding of new and upgraded facilities - Plan and manage funding for annual facility renewal and modifications projects - With FM, manage the facilities’ condition.
(10%) Funding for Res Life, FM etc. - Fund maintenance for the housing facilities. - Fund the residential life program budget as approved by the University - Make recommendations and provide funding for university initiatives as approved/requested by University leadership.
Performs other tasks as directed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have: • BS degree in business, accounting, or equivalent in a related field • Excellent communicator • 5 years supervisory experience. • Ability to negotiate and establish various agreements • Data analysis and presentation skills
Preferred requirements: • Experience with real estate markets and trends • Experience in a higher education environment
