Job Description:

ECU College of Engineering and Technology is currently seeking Computer Technology Assistants to perform the following duties:

-Assist College of Engineering and Technology technical services personnel in the day-to-day support of college faculty, students, and staff.
-Provide technical support to College of Engineering and Technology students, faculty, and staff.
-Perform initial diagnostics and troubleshooting on Windows, Apple, and Linux based personal computers.
-Perform initial setup and configuration on college workstations, labs, and servers.
-Troubleshoot printing issues.
-Perform initial setup and configuration of printers.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot connectivity issues regarding college workstations, labs, and servers.
-Assist technical services personnel with equipment logistics (i.e. initial setup, tear down, deployment, and relocation of college digital assets on servers, workstations, displays, printers, etc.)
-Provide mentoring and schedule coordination to students enrolled as interns to the technical services group.
-Monitor the College of Engineering and Technology service request system for service requests from college personnel.
-Work with technical support personnel and interns to respond to and resolve issues/requests in a timely manner.
