Job Description:

The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full time Clinical Research Assistant to assist directly with both child and parent participants in consenting/assenting, administering study protocol, and collecting data within the Addiction division.

This position is responsible for answering e-mails, phone calls, and mail regarding study participation and retention. Additionally, this position will be responsible for administering the screening instruments to determine eligibility and participant scheduling. This includes: administering tasks using REDcap, iPad applications, and E-prime based fMRI tasks and collecting biological samples (hair, saliva, urine, and breath samples). This position will also be responsible for monitoring study supplies and ensuring supplies are re-stocked in a timely manner. As well as monitoring the shipping of biological samples to the appropriate laboratories and confirming samples have arrived satisfactorily.

Advertised Salary:

$10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of appropriate experience. Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work as part of an office team, communicate accurately and effectively with internal and external sources, both verbally and written formats. Computer skills for word processing, scheduling, spreadsheets, and email. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Knowledge of general office procedures, business formats, basic math and filing procedures. Associates degree or higher. Ability to conduct remote assessments, gathering data through video conferencing.
