UF Health Regional Physicians with The Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida seeks a Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialist who enjoys working with children to join an enthusiastic division. This is a growing program with an established referral base from across the Florida panhandle and southern Alabama.

The Studer Family Children’s Hospital celebrated its 50th year in 2019 with the opening of a new Children’s Hospital and is currently in the construction phase of adding six new Pediatric operating rooms with an expected opening date of January 2021. The Children’s Hospital has a full complement of pediatric subspecialties and support programs. Through UF Health and Ascension Sacred Heart, we are staying on the leading edge of children's healthcare. Expected Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes plus four years of appropriate experience. Completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification/Licensure in the state of Florida and Federal DEA Certification.
  • Medical Degree – M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent.
  • Board certified in the appropriate subspecialty.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program.
