Position Summary:

The focus of the position will be on spatial population dynamics, with an emphasis on
understanding how movement and resource selection influence survival. A secondary
emphasis will be on development of power analysis tools in the R package ‘unmarked’.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:

PhD is wildlife ecology, biostatistics, or a related discipline.
Preference will be given to applicants with a strong publication record in the required areas of expertise.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies :

Applicants experienced with movement models, survival models, and spatial
capture-recapture models are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have experience
with R and Bayesian inference.
