The senior financial services associate will work in a fast paced department that collects revenue for the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Primary responsibilities are to drive the day to day work flow of the team to ensure proper coverage for each area, assist with collections on accounts, balancing financial reports, and speaking with clients in person or by phone to receive deposit payments or additional information. This position will work with the Financial Services Manager in scheduling staff, assisting with communication to hospital staff and faculty regarding payment for services and be the first point of contact for any questions or problems from clients.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:
Considerable knowledge of bookkeeping procedures.
Skilled in using Excel and other Microsoft Office programs; Typing skills and computer skills are essential to complete the basic responsibilities and major duties of the job.
Make complex and arithmetic computations and tabulations accurately and rapidly.

Support the Accounting Department to ensure that all accounting tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet Business Office deadlines including, but not limited to: issuing of credit memos, issuing refunds, processing daily deposits, provide support for monitoring account receivable charges and flagging delinquent accounts.Percentage of time:

Develop innovative process guides and other administrative documents that will help streamline operations and improve customer service satisfaction.
