Position Highlights:

The Adjunct Instructor will provide part-time instruction for the Department of American Indian Studies undergraduate program for one Spring (2021) course: AIS 434 Tribal Government, contingent upon availability of funding. NOTE: The teaching schedule will depend on department scheduling; the course will be taught “live online” via Zoom.

Duties & Responsibilities:

●Instruct undergraduate students in AIS 434
●Plan lectures and assignments
●Grade assignments and exams
●Asses final grades for students based on performance in class

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

● Ph.D. in American Indian Studies or a related field
● College-level teaching experience
● Experience working with a tribal government
