Position Summary

The School of Criminal Justice invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term assistant professor position. Duties include teaching six courses at the graduate level (master’s degree level) offered in the online/virtual format. These courses will focus extensively around cybercrime, cybersecurity, and law enforcement practice in this area. Knowledge of digital forensic practice also welcomed.

The position begins on August 16, 2021 and is on an AY appointment ending August 15, 2022.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Criminal Justice/Criminology or related

Minimum Requirements

The positions require a PhD. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of teaching excellence and/or significant work experience in areas related to teaching assignment (e.g., policing, courts, corrections, private security, or cyber-security). Candidates must have the ability to teach at the graduate level.

Desired Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants with experience in teaching in online format.
