Advertised Job Summary:

Under general supervision, The Referral and Outreach Coordinator communicates with child care programs, parents and community partners about SC Child Care Inclusion Collaborative (SCIC) programs and initiatives and provides administrative support to the Director and program staff of the SCIC to include assistance with technology and managing inventory.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.
Ability to work some evenings and occasional Saturdays for events
Valid Driver’s License with a clean 10 year driving record.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Experience with database management, data entry, reporting – 2 years minimum
Working knowledge of community and human services resources, experience or familiarity with addressing early childhood care and education issues is recommended.
Highly effective and demonstrated interpersonal skills, maintain highest level of confidentiality, advanced customer service skills.
Experience to use independent judgment in prioritizing multiple high priorities and utilizing internal resources.
Willingness to attend professional development activities to increase knowledge related to SCIC Scope of Work.

Successful applicants will have excellent written and oral communication skills, computer skills that include Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), web-based software applications, knowledge and expertise related to social media platforms, the ability to lift 50lbs, reliable transportation to conduct meetings and community engagement events
