Department Summary:

The Office of the Registrar services areas including enrollment, academic records, degree certification and diplomas, grade collection and recording, transfer credit processing, student-athlete and veteran certification, course and classroom scheduling, curriculum and catalog, and much more.

Position Summary:

The Degree Audit/ Course Scheduling Assistant is responsible for entering approved exceptions into the PeopleSoft Academic Advisement module so that accurate degree audits can be reviewed by advisors, students, and staff. This position is also responsible for continual assistance with course and classroom scheduling for each semester.

Minimum Qualifications:

-High school diploma and some college hours
-Exemplary computer and data entry skills
-Ability to operate office machinery (printer, copier, scanner)
-Analytical and problem solving skills
-Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
-Attention to detail
-Time management skills
-Strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

-Associate or higher-level degree
-Knowledge of PeopleSoft student information system
-Knowledge of degree audit processing and related procedures
-Knowledge of course and classroom scheduling practices
-Knowledge of university catalog degree requirements and policies

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, not to exceed 19 hours per week.
