Job Summary:Reporting to the Executive Director of EEO and Title IX Programs, the Director of EEO Programs serves as the University’s designated official for Affirmative Action, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to individuals with disabilities, and other civil rights compliance. Areas of responsibility include compliance, harassment and EEO discrimination complaint investigation, office supervision, and service on campus committees.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of experience with EEO, ADA, Affirmative Action, human resources, or employment law; OR Master’s degree and eight (8) years of experience with EEO, ADA, Affirmative Action, human resources, or employment law.

Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of current equal opportunity laws, regulations and guidelines. Ability to interpret, analyze, and advise on the application of Equal Opportunity, ADA and Affirmative Action policies and regulations in employment and academic settings. Must have the ability to investigate protected class complaints, develop and implement policies and procedures for the University, and provide relevant training.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience overseeing investigations involving reports of protected class harassment and/or discrimination preferred. Higher education experience preferred.
