Job Summary

This posting is for current Kutztown University employees only.

The new Diversity & Inclusion officer for Intercollegiate Athletics & Recreation is a FT manager 170 position reporting to the assistant vice president for Recreation & Athletic Resources. The position requires a close working relationship with the athletics administration. The diversity & inclusion officer is responsible for supporting and enhancing diversity in Athletics and Recreational Services. The position will serve as the liaison with diversity offices across campus, and will serve as a representative for Intercollegiate Athletics & Recreation for all diversity matters at the university. The position requires a 37.5-hour work week, with pre-approved flexible schedule depending on needs of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreational Services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrated experience with program development
  • Experience in Higher Education
  • Familiarity with NCAA and PSAC rules
Preferred Qualifications

  • Human Resource experience and knowledge of effective search processes.
  • Master’s Degree Preferred.

The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $45,000- $48,000, commensurate with experience.
