Description:

Hofstra University’s Office of Undergraduate Admission seeks a Senior Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications. Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications for Enrollment Management, this position is primarily responsible for planning and executing all recruitment marketing campaigns. This role will be responsible for ensuring that projects of all kinds are completed on schedule, at or under budget and meeting their stated goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure that projects of all kinds are completed on schedule, at or under budget and meeting their stated goals.
- Develop, track and manage content and outcomes for marketing campaigns including, but not limited to: print, emails, guidebooks, articles, web and other related marketing and promotional material.
- Plan, track and control expenses.
- Other duties as assigned.

Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.

This position is an on-site position, work will be preformed on campus.
Evening and weekend hours will be required in support of special projects and events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree is required. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator with excellent organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to manage and mentor staff members. Candidate will have a strong grasp of the English language including spelling, meaning, rules of grammar and composition, and the ability to vary tone and language based on medium and target audience. Candidate will be knowledgeable of methods and principles for promoting and selling services. A working knowledge of Slate is helpful. Must possess a working knowledge Microsoft Suite. This individual will deal with a wide variety of constituents, including faculty, administrators, alumni, vendors, current students, and prospective students and their families. The candidate must have a professional demeanor and excellent relational skills.
