Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Grounds Staff (Building/Grounds Specialist II) in the Grounds Department.
Duties will include, but are not limited to: cutting grass, trimming and edging curbs, sidewalks and flower beds; installing and repairing irrigation systems; performing minor repairs to grounds equipment, planting and pruning shrubs, trees and flowers; raking leaves and pine straw; spreading fertilizers and insecticides; operating equipment in maintaining campus; and performing general grounds work.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least six (6) months experience in grounds maintenance or related work are required. Successful candidate must possess working knowledge of power equipment used in grounds maintenance/upkeep.
