Job Description Summary:

The Psychology Department invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor in the area of diversity science. The position starts on or around August 1, 2021.

Responsibilities include teaching two courses per semester and developing a nationally recognized research program. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in both research and undergraduate teaching and will integrate the two by involving undergraduates in their research program. The teaching load will include an introductory psychology course and advanced courses related to their area of expertise (e.g., Cultural Psychology, Race and Racism, Mental and Physical Health Disparities).

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree in the field of their teaching interest or an appropriate Clinical Degree; established higher education teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctorate Degree
