Summary of Duties:

Performs higher level administrative, fiscal and technical duties for the county director and provides office management support for 7-9 employees. Duties include providing administrative support to the county director; estimating, developing and monitoring budgets from a variety of sources, including federal grants, contracts, county government, conferences and contributions; recruiting, training and supervising part-time or full-time secretarial staff and volunteers.

Required Qualifications:

High School graduation or equivalent AND three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in office/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting, or general administrative work; OR equivalent education/experience.

Additional Requirements:

Valid driver’s license.

While using a private or WSU-owned vehicle for official business, must have current automobile liability insurance (meeting requirements described in RCW 46.30.020 and RCW 46.29.090).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Office word processing, databases, spreadsheets, graphics, publishing, communications and web search engines.

Experience in budgeting; fiscal, grant and contract management.

Customer service experience.
