Summary of Duties:

Coordinates and manages all aspects of academic record maintenance through independent interaction with faculty, staff and students. Provides accurate and time-sensitive creation and revision of current and former student academic records. Ensures integrity and accuracy of student grade transactions; provides customer service regarding various Registrar functions (registration, records, verifications) in person, by phone, and email utilizing the student information system (myWSU), imaging system, and AIS conversations including SRTS and OARS; other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.

Additional Requirements:

Program Specialty – Student Academic Records or equivalent education/experience.

Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

Higher education experience

Computer knowledge including the Microsoft suite of applications

Experience using PeopleSoft/Oracle Campus Solutions student information system

Experience using Oracle Imaging

Experience using WSU mainframe system (AIS) including OARS and SRTS

Experience producing accurate work in a high volume environment

Experience working with a diverse population

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
