Data Management Analyst I

Collects, summarizes, and analyzes data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports. Maintains computerized collection and tracking of relevant data.

Searching and organizing the scientific literature related to contract deliverables using relevant databases and other sources; maintaining bibliographical citation data; and preparing written summaries of literature.

Participate in the development, execution and management of data sharing agreements with state and local agencies.

Assisting Faculty and research assistants in certain duties related to unit deliverables and special projects, as they arise. These include: creating complex data tables and graphs for reports; coordinating and conducting quality checks of reports; creating technical appendices and writing reports.

Other duties as assigned.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area.

Bachelors or Masters Degree in social/behavioral sciences, public health, early childhood education or a related field. Experience in research management or policy research a plus. Proficiency with Word, Excel, SPSS or other statistical software, Web navigation tools and programs, and general computer functioning. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently and ability to collaborate with faculty and staff at multiple levels.
