Associate Marine Development Engineer I

Job description

Position is full-time calendar year, limited to 07-17-2021 with anticipated renewal.

Develop, assemble, and operate autonomous floats for oceanic research on the biological carbon pump. Primary role will be software and firmware development, PCB assembly and design as needed to support specific projects related to the floats. Float ballasting and sea-going activities related to deployment and recovery will be required.
