Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops, plans, designs, and conductsresearch. Reviews progress and evaluates results. Coordinates laboratory andfield work including lab equipment management.
  • Formulates research methods. Develops or collaborates inthe development of new techniques, methods, and equipment.
  • Contributes to ensuring regulatory compliance of the researchprogram by coordinating with granting agencies and regulators as required byresearch program.
  • Participates in the acquisition of research funding by initiatingand writing grant proposals.
  • Participates or authors articles in peer-reviewed journals, booksor chapter publications. Participate or presents at conferences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is typically required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Background in Sleep, Circadian Rhythm and Pulmonary sciences. *Extensive knowledge and use of bio-statistical principles, theories and concepts. *Experience with several methods of data acquisition, analysis and interpretation. *Proficient in preparing articles for publication or presentation at professional conferences. *Ability to prepare statistical data for inclusion in reports.
