Position Highlights:

The Assessment of Behavior and Learning for Excellence Clinic under the University of Arizona Arthritis Center is seeking an on-call Behavioral Health Counselor to perform specific evaluations, which include psychological, psychoeducational, autism, and neuropsychological evaluations for clients who are referred to ABLE Clinic on an as-needed basis.

The University of Arizona Arthritis Center is one of twelve Centers of Excellence at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. The Arthritis Center is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients. We do this through research ranging from molecules to people, by empowering patients in taking charge of their lifestyles and by educating providers/clinicians and scientists to develop and apply novel and more effective therapies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performspecific evaluations for clients who are referred to the ABLE Clinic from theArizona Department of Economic Security.
  • Evaluations include psychological,psychoeducational, autism, and neuropsychological evaluations.
  • Meet withcounselors to discuss results of evaluations.
  • Assistwith filing reports for benefits.
  • Review ofphysical and mental records.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required. Master degree in related field required.
