Position Highlights:

The University of Arizona School of Architecture invites applications for the following part-time/full-time Lecturer teaching position for the Academic year 2021: Foundations Studios, Design Studios (various levels), Advanced Technology, Internship, Design Communications, Architecture History and Theory, and Professional Practice Courses. As a cost-saving measure related to the impact of COVID-19, Furlough and Furlough-Based Salary Programs have been approved by the Arizona Board of Regents. All new hires subject to the programs will be notified in accordance with adopted Furlough and Furlough-Based Salary Programs guidelines and will be required to comply with all measures. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and development of the specific course as required
  • Participation as a member of the Faculty of Architecture by attending faculty meetings
  • Minor service responsibilities to the School

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Terminal degree in the discipline of instruction (if subject area is other than Architecture such as Engineering, Theory, or Art History);
  • or Professional accredited Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, current architectural registration, and minimum three years' experience in active architectural practice(s);
  • or Bachelor's Degree (non-professional) in Architecture or a related design field and minimum twelve years' experience in active architectural practice(s).
