The Obstetrics/Gynecology Department seeks an individual to schedule surgery cases at Good Samaritan, UK Chandler, and CAS.
Will pre-cert for all cases including radiology and outpatient testing, inductions, or admissions to Labor and Delivery; coordinate generalist OR schedule with the clinic schedule; coordinate PAT testing appointments and medical clearance for surgery for patients where indicated; coordinate pre-op and post op appointments to be performed.
Ensure OR rooms are booked and financial counseling to establish form of payment and collected. Complete necessary paperwork and scan into the shared drive.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
Organized, ability to use electronic scheduling systems. This position requires the ability to multi-task, provide exceptional customer service, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, both in person and telephone, organizational and computers.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
