Physical Requirements:

The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.

Shift:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, may require some holidays.

Job Summary:

The Pediatrics Clinic at UK is currently seeking a Nurse Team Leader with primary patient care role in Pediatric Gastroenterology. This position will work closely with the division chief and providers to create, maintain, and implement clinical protocols and procedures to ensure continuity of care.

The Nurse Team Leader works closely with the Practice Manager and Nurse Clinical Manager Senior to operationalize ambulatory clinic issues, nursing directions, scheduling templates, protocols, and staffing models.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

Basic computer knowledge, MS Windows, Word, Outlook, clinical applications. Supervisory experience, detail oriented.
