This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Also involves some exposure to risk of injury from using job-related equipment; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, and blood-borne or airborne pathogens.Shift:
Primarily Monday thru Friday; 8am to 4pm.Job Summary:
This position will provide a variety of pharmacy services including obtaining prior authorizations, enrolling patients’ in financial support programs, and coordinating first time dispenses and refills for oncology medications prescribed within UK HealthCare. You will work closely with nurses, physicians, and Markey Pharmacy Team staff to improve access to medications for patients seen in the Markey Cancer Center.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
This position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
