This Epidemiologist (Data Visualization Specialist) will be able to turn data into community-facing data summaries that allow the Markey Cancer Center to effectively deliver data-focused information to those living in the Commonwealth.
This person will be able to present large amounts of information in ways that are universally understandable or easy to interpret, drawing on statistical knowledge in which s/he can identify patterns, trends, and correlations. This person should be able to integrate data from multiple sources and transform these data into creative infographics, graphs, charts, or other pictorial diagrams.
This position requires critical thinking skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills both written and oral, and the ability to work with large amounts of information and see the “bigger picture.”
