Job Description

Provides moderately advanced administrative support to an assigned department or specialized activity. Processes transcripts for TAMUCT students. Assist at front counter in assisting current students with their class schedule to include adding, dropping, changing and withdrawing from courses. Create and type correspondence letters, verification letters, and enrollment letters. Scan and query student files. Assist students in person, email, phone and fax.
Responsibilities:
-Print and audit outgoing transcripts.
-Proof permanent records and publications from original documents. Proof and maintain current and past education files. Verify all transcript data, Image, Index, and Query at the end of every semester.
-Maintain and post drop cards and withdrawals.
-Complete verification of enrollment for students. Complete Education Verification for students.
-Enter student registrations prior to and after regular registration, as approved. Make student schedule changes and make corrections.
-Process consortium agreements.
-Accept incoming jobs for data entry, determine and assign priorities.
-Typing/filing/copying as needed.
-Assist with Gatesville student registration files.
-Assist students and provide general information.
-Accept other duties as assigned by the department head.

Minimum Requirements

Education – High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience – Three years of related experience.

Knowledge of – Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

Ability to – Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Licensing / Professional Certification – None.

Supervision of Others

This position generally does not supervise employees.

Hours: 8am - 5pm; Monday - Friday
