Position Description:
As a member of the Business Transformation Office (BTO), the Project Manager will lead the implementation of an enterprise level Financial applications. The Project Manager will lead a team of Business Analysts, Developers, QA Testers, and Communication Specialists to design, develop, implement and manage the entire system development life cycle. The Project Manager is responsible for setting and enforcing standard methodologies, practices, and tools that enable delivery of large-scale, mission critical systems used across the campus enterprise. The Project Manager will collaborate with campus stakeholders to deliver comprehensive project management services for each phase of the application development life-cycle, instill project standards among the campus community, apply industry standards for best practices, and to provide advisory Project Management practice and services to campus departments. Additional responsibilities include conducting research and evaluation of emerging methods and software products, development of long-term strategy and roadmap for Project Management service offering, development of resource and project plans related to project specific efforts, documentation of program elements, development of BTO staff in support of long-term plans, and participating in the financial planning and budgeting for sustained service delivery.
