This position provides direct support for academic performance and success, particularly for students facing academic challenges and among first-year students, transfer students, and international students as they make the transition to college. This position also supports work for students with disabilities. This is a full-time, ten-month appointment.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree required. Experience working with students with learning challenges in an undergraduate educational setting required.

    Preferred Skills

    An understanding of student development issues and effective learning strategies; knowledge of higher education disability laws and regulations; ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally in a variety of situations; good organizational and computer skills; a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
