Responsible for program design and the development and implementation of program goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.

Perform formative and summative evaluation of projects to ensure projects are meeting performance and outcome measures. Provide guidance and direction to staff involved in school-based prevention programs. Coordinates program activities to ensure adherence with University, federal, and state guidelines.

Includes preparing and submitting timely project deliverables and invoices to project sponsors, participating in regular project implementation team meetings, conference calls, and regular webinars with curriculum authors. Preparing and managing project budgets to ensure adherence to project requirements.

Coordinating contract and subcontract awards with sponsors and state or federal flow-through agencies. Assist Center Director with actively seeking funding opportunities and developing proposals to obtain funds from local, state, and federal sources that align with the mission of the center.Qualifications Bachelor's degree and six years of experience related to the duties of this position; or a high school diploma and ten years of experience related to the duties of this position.

(Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to ten years.)

Experience working with prevention program in school settings.

Experience working as program or contract manager on state and/or federal contracts.

Demonstrates a record of successful grant writing to state or federal sponsors.

Prior supervisory experience.

Professional experience preparing and monitoring budgets.

Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.Preferred Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Education, Human Development & Family Studies, or related field.

Certification and experience with one or more of the following prevention programs:

Green Dot Violence Prevention Strategy, Life Skills Training, Guiding Good Choices.

Minimum of six years working with prevention programs, preferably in school settings.

Minimum of six years working as program or contract manager on state and/or federal contracts.Pay Plan This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.Soft Money Funded Position This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting.
