Minimum Qualifications:

Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Position Summary:

This position will provide support for ongoing lab, greenhouse, and field activities. Responsibilities will include routine lab work, growing/maintaining plants in the greenhouse, contributing to field experiments, data management, ordering lab supplies, management of chemical inventories and waste, general maintenance of the lab, lab safety, and other duties as assigned. This position is contingent on funding availability.

Physical Demands:

Carry up to 35 lbs, hike to remote field sites, work outdoors including at high elevation or in inclement weather. May drive University vehicle when needed to perform job task.

Assist in greenhouse and field experiments:

- Plant, water, monitor, and maintain seeds/plants for research

- Contribute to data collection in greenhouse and field experiments
