Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm.
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, the Instructor/Coordinator at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center (IMCC) a state correctional institution, is responsible for coordinating education services, providing on-site supervision of Kirkwood education staff, and providing instruction to incarcerated learners. This person will serve in conjunction with the High School program manager, and Workforce Dean, as a liaison between Kirkwood and the IMCC staff, and with the Iowa Department of Corrections. The Instructor/Coordinator will also provide on-going monitoring and evaluation of classroom instruction and curriculum, as well as input to the selection and purchase of materials, equipment, and overall programing.
