Advertised Job Summary:

This position works as part of a team that conducts quality assurance reviews of Department of Social Services child welfare, out of home abuse and neglect and adult protective services cases as well as strategic reviews.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):

Master’s degree and 1 year related program experience, or bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, Counseling, English or related field. Specialized knowledge in content areas of child welfare, community development, victim services, elder/adult services, school social work, vocational rehabilitation, adolescent issues, juvenile justice, public health, or disabilities and special needs.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Must have the ability to review and analyze case files to determine if policies and procedures were followed. Possess and demonstrate strong observation and critical thinking skills. Excellent grammar and writing skills required. Working knowledge of relevant computer software. Ability to stimulate and facilitate individuals and groups in the learning process, to plan and manage projects and self-directed work groups, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external staff.
