Typically 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Primary schedule to be discussed during interview. Includes weekend shifts and holiday shift requirements per departmental needs.Job Summary:
This position will interact with our contracted 340b split-billing software vendor to place 340b and GPO compliant triple-split orders to our drug wholesaler (WACvs GPO vs 340b) on a routine basis. This position will also interact with our drug wholesaler. Position may assist with other Pharmacy Partner’s Programs and will perform other pharmacy technician duties as assigned. This position assists pharmacists in UK HealthCare retail pharmacy sites operating under Chandler Retail Pharmacies. The Pharmacy Senior Technician may also assist with entering, filling, and dispensing prescriptions, clerical work, and restocking daily orders received from wholesalers. Pharmacy Technicians for Ambulatory Pharmacy Services will play an integral role in ensuring overall customer satisfaction and that a positive patient experience is achieved for all Chandler and Good Samaritan retail pharmacy patrons.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
This position requires dependability, and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
Two years of previous work experience (in a related field). Prefer previous pharmacy tech experience or work/classes in medical field. Hired candidate must maintain state licensure in good standing. Must have 2 years of full-time (or pro-rated) pharmacy technician experience and must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).Deadline to Apply:
