Days, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday, and other days and hours as needed.

Job Summary:

The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine is currently seeking a Patient Relations Assistant to provide physician support with efficient patient care. The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: provide basic registration; verify patient insurance; schedule patients for one or more visits in the same day, or in the future; interpret registration system screens; collect co-pays; and enter patient communication in the electronic health record.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

Multi-tasking, excellent customer service and communication skills, able to function in a busy environment, work as a teammate.

No

Preferred Education/Experience:

Outpatient clinic experience preferred.
