Target Hourly/Salary Rate:
$36,720 Target entry to commensurate with qualifications for training specialist.
Serves as main department team member responsible for industry, business, agency, and organization contract training, including outreach and marketing; needs assessment and analysis; developing, facilitating, or organizing trainings; and assessment and evaluation. Provides program support for various workforce development programs. Assists participants and students in understanding and selecting best training options available. Provides general support for various marketing and outreach efforts of the department, including web-based marketing, print, and social media. Knowledge of 21st century workforce development trends, market research methods, and program evaluation best practices will be beneficial in this position.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Required Experience: Three (3) years of professional experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.
