Location: STEMM Academy in Attica, MI
Compensation: Compensation based on experience and existing rates for similar positions within Baker College Professional Services, Inc.
Start Date: December, 2020

Reports To: Program Director
Work Schedule: Days; varies depending on class schedule each semester

Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of ADJUNCT FACULTY - BUSINESS/ECONOMICS (PART-TIME) RUNNING START PROGRAM for the benefit of and to be located at the STEMM Academy in Attica, MI.

General Statement of Duties:

The primary purpose of the Part-Time Adjunct Faculty person is to teach courses in areas of their expertise.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Please note Baker College will evaluate the minimum education and experience based on the Academic
    Faculty Credential Policy
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business/Economics or related area required
  • Online education platform familiarity preferred
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and Canvas
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Previous teaching experience preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Teach at Running Start high school location
  • Revise, review and/or develop curriculum, as needed
  • Complete all required professional development/training
  • Collect and submit required assessment of student learning data
  • Participate in appropriate campus and system committees, subcommittees, projects, and activities
  • Other duties as assigned
