Position Summary:

Postdoctoral trainee will engage in research examining adversity exposure and brain development. Post doc will assist with study design, data collection, risk assessment, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and/or grant submissions.

Post-doctoral fellow will be primarily responsible for conducting neuroimaging data analysis across a variety of existing datasets. The ideal candidate will have a substantive interest in childhood maltreatment, adolescent self-injurious thoughts and behaviors, and adolescent psychopathology. They would be jointly supervised by Drs. Margaret Sheridan and Adam Bryant Miller. Work would include analyzing neuroimaging and behavioral datasets, publishing research manuscripts, assisting with data collection for ongoing studies, and engaging in scholarly activities within the CIRCLE lab. The position will include the possibility of some time and resources to pursue independent research projects.

The CIRCLE lab is a group of vibrant scholars, engaged in numerous research projects focusing on neurobiological and behavioral underpinnings of child and adolescent psychopathology.

Educational Requirements:

PhD in Psychology or related field by time of appointment

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience with fMRI data analysis is essential for this position, and the ideal candidate will have an interest and experience with network connectivity across both task-based and resting state analyses. Knowledge of python, R, matlab are useful as is use of nipype, FSL, or fMRIprep.

Postdoctoral trainee must have experience with neuroimaging, statistical analyses, and a publication record.
