Responsible for the design and stress analysis of wind tunnel models. Calibration and installation of various flow/ aero measurement sensors.

Responsible for data acquisition and processing instrumentation and programming.

Interacts and coordinates with external users, students, and scientists in the development and implementation of projects. Assists Principal Investigators (PI) in directing individual project/programs.

Responsible for designing and implementing various optical flow diagnostic techniques for the PSWT to increase the quality of experimental data.Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to six years
(Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years)

Two years mechanical design experience involving loads/stress analysis.

Proficient in the most common design/drawing software, e.g. Solid Works, AutoCad or ProE, etc.

Excellent communication skills - written and oral.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex design & development projects.

Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of clients and users.Preferred Advanced degree (MS) preferred

Experience with complex test facility/rig design and control design highly desirable.

Experience in Labview highly desirable.
