Advertised Job Summary:

Under limited supervision, maintains and follows a safe and productive maintenance program for all facility HVAC mechanical needs within assigned buildings by completing work orders; communicating with the Call Center and the supervisor. Duties include planning, inspecting, verifying, communicating, and problem-solving assigned facility HVAC mechanical needs. Ensure that all facility HVAC mechanical related needs are performed per specifications and common practices while exhibiting professionalism in conduct, appearance, and work practices.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):

High school diploma and 5 years’ experience in the commercial maintenance and repair services relating to all mechanical and HVAC systems and their respected control equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

Licensed Mechanical Service Technician and EPA Universal Refrigerant Certified Mechanic preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to develop and maintain strong customer service skills, maintain harmonious working relationship with departmental staff, work independently, and maintain functional awareness of typical hazards with in the work.
