The ability to lift, carry, push and pull objects up to 25 pounds on a daily basis, kneel and bend, reach above shoulder level as well as stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. Tasks will involve repetitive motion.Shift:
Primarily day shifts;may include weekends and holidays. Hours and days of the week subject to change based on needs of dept.Job Summary:
Seeking dependable, full-time, self-motivated, experienced front office customer service representative to represent the UK DME business in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Position is responsible for answering phone calls/faxes, emails, greeting patients, routing patient referrals to the correct individual(s) in the DME business, establishing and maintaining accurate patient records, collecting payments for products and services delivered, assisting with preparing and securing Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMNs), and other administrative tasks as assigned.
The successful person in this position will be organized, have excellent attention to detail, be able to evaluate options and make efficient decisions, and be dedicated to quality patient care.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have medical office or billing experience, experience with insurance verification, and/or familiarity with DME equipment and DME patient management software.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
Experience interpreting/processing explanation of benefits (EOB) and insurance denials, ability to resolve past due claims, and knowledge of insurance payer specific prior authorization requirements is preferred.Deadline to Apply:
