The Clinical Liaison Coordinator for the Physician Assistant (PA) program provides a full range of clinical and student services, including meeting with students on a regular basis to discuss their academic progress and rotation preferences and limitations. The position coordinates hospital orientations, identifies and ensures the maintenance of clinical sites, uploads and maintains schedules and rotations and ensures that students comply with necessary requirements.

    Meets regularly with PA students to discuss and coordinate clinical year rotations and schedule Requests, evaluates, and provides appropriate documentation requested by clinical sites Performs site visits and coordinates logistics for clinical eventsIdentifies and partners with new clinical education sites for recruitment opportunitiesCreates and obtains affiliation agreements, data sheets, and preceptor agreements from each clinical siteFosters partnerships with current clinical sites and establishes expectations of the PA programCoordinates class schedules and assists clinical PA students with course registration Coordinates and organizes clinical sites assessments and student evaluationsMonitors and audits student patient tracking software to ensure patient interactions are logged and comply with accreditation requirementsReviews and resolves schedule conflicts during the clinical year

    Bachelor’s degree in Education or Health related discipline and five (5) years of related work experience, or a Master’s degree in Education or Health related discipline and one (1) year of related work experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to different clinical sites.
  • All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and proceduresAbility to maintain confidentiality at all timesAbility work independently and use independent judgment in the performance of complex record keeping functionsAbility to organize and manage tasks in a timely manner Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and related database software applicationsKnowledge of ARC-PA accreditation requirements for clinical sites and student patient tracking software
  • Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with staff, faculty, and students
