Job Description POSITION OBJECTIVE

Under general direction, develop content management solutions in a multi-solution, multi-server, enterprise environment. Analyze and improve performance of software programs and analyze requirements for data exchanges between application software and other systems; determine viable alternatives, make recommendations; design, specify, obtain consensus, and implement solutions. Contribute to the creation, and maintenance of application architecture diagrams and design documents. Serve as resource to consultants, customers and other developers for all needs related to enterprise content management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Design, develop, deliver, and maintain high quality, high impact enterprise content management solutions. Apply patches, fixes, enhancements, updates, and third-party application updates as needed. Ensure system availability and compliance with best practices regarding privacy, security, and any regulatory guidelines (45%)Work with stakeholders in order to collect, document, implement and maintain business and system requirements. Create and maintain technical and operational documentation (including application architecture diagrams, detailed design documents, process flows, system requirements and business requirements). Propose viable solutions to business problems/requests which take into account end-to-end processes. Define and scope projects for application solutions; follow project management standards and software development lifecycle methodology. (35%)Proactively contribute to strategic planning of applications and technology direction for enterprise content management. (10%)Serve as resource to consultants and customers by responding to issues, answering general questions, providing guidance and performing system overviews. Perform mentoring activities to get other staff members up to speed with enterprise content management from a technical perspective. (10%)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

May supervise work of application developers, junior business systems analysts, and/or contractors. May supervise work of project team members. Provide mentoring for application developers. May ensure others comply with established standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 7 to 10 years of progressive experience. Minimum 5 years of OnBase experience.

Education/Licensing: Bachelor’s degree required. Vendor certifications required. Examples include OCSA (OnBase Certified System Administrator), OCAWA (OnBase Certified Advanced Workflow Administrator), OCWV (OnBase WorkView Certification), and OCAPI (OnBase Certified Application Programming Interface).

REQUIRED SKILLS

    Extensive experience developing OnBase solutions. Experience developing Workflow, WorkView, Unity Forms, and Reporting Dashboards is required.Experience with one or more of the following modules is preferred: Records Management, Full Text Indexing, Enterprise Integration Server, Intelligent Capture for Accounts Payable (iCap).Experience developing solutions in an Oracle-based environment, experience integrating with PeopleSoft, and working experience with C# is a plus.Demonstrated experience with principles and methods of systems analysis, including business process and entity relationship analysis tools and methods.Demonstrated experience with systems design principles, methodologies, and tools, including those applicable to web-based environments.Demonstrated experience with database theory, design rules and development practices, including data modeling, data flow and entity relationship analysis.Knowledge of requirements gathering and documentation, process mapping and documenting user acceptance criteria.Ability to provide technical project management support for technical cross-functional projects and is assigned to projects of significant scope, complexity, size, impact, budget and/or project team size. Projects are diverse in nature and have significant impact to the organization.Autonomously analyzes complex problems; identifies critical elements and alternatives, organizes existing resources and new information to implement most appropriate solution.Excellent English oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and engage with diverse user base having varied levels of technical proficiencies. Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors and customers face to face. Ability to look at situations from multiple perspectives, break problems into component parts, and look for underlying causes and think through the consequences of different courses of action. Ability to identify distinct types of problems along with the creation of workable solutions. WORKING CONDITIONS

Professional office setting. There are periods of stressful times especially during project deadlines. There may be occasional pressure from demanding customers. Due to time constraints, many functions must be completed on set deadlines. Travel between various locations on campus may be required. The position requires typing on a computer keyboard and using a computer mouse and a printer. The employee may be required to attend meetings/functions outside normal working hours. The employee may be required to carry a cell phone, during and after their normal work hours, including weekends to attend to after-hours emergencies.
