Description:
The Department of Epidemiology at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine is seeking applications for a Research Assistant Professor of Epidemiology with a focus on clinical research and implementation research. Candidates with a doctoral degree in epidemiology, community health, clinical research, or implementation research or a MD with a MPH or MS in epidemiology will be considered. We offer a supportive environment for faculty to participate in on-going clinical and implementation research and publish high-impact scientific papers. We have an outstanding track-record in NIH-funded research.
Main responsibilities include: participating in research grant preparation and submission; developing study protocols, manuals of operation, and study forms; managing on-going and new research studies; supervising study coordinators and other research staff; and participating in data analysis, publications, and presentations.

Qualifications:
