Part-Time Scholarship CoordinatorPOSITION SUMMARY
In collaboration with Financial Services and the Advancement Office, this individual will coordinate, develop, and maintain an application and awarding process for funded scholarships, church match scholarships, and outside scholarships.This individual will also collaborate with the Financial Aid Processing Team and perform duties such as revising financial aid offers and processing loans.This individual will serve the Marion campus.Depending on the experience of the individual, we will consider this position for remote work.REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Scholarship Coordinator reports directly to the Associate Director of Financial Services.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Attention to detail and organizations skills required
· Ability to work in an environment with high accountability and sensitive information· Demonstrates ability to take initiative and proactively work independently
· Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with other departments across IWU
· Ability to create initiatives that encourage students to apply for scholarships
· Ability adapt to the needs of our officeSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This individual will not supervise any full time or part time staff members.It is a possibility they could supervise student workers.QUALIFICATIONS

Education· Bachelor’s Degree preferredExperience·Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with database · Scholarship management and financial aid experience preferred, but not required· Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.
Required Skills· Demonstrated experience within Excel and Access·Attention to detail · Demonstrated communication skills
