Nurse, Part Time for the IWU Health Center

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient education, triage, acute care, immunizations, travel care and lab services for students and employees.The RN supports the spiritual, emotional and physical health of students and employees. The RN will work closely with the medical providers.


The RN reports directly to the Clinical Director.


TriageAdminister allergy injections, immunizations and other medications as directedCollaborate with other departments on behalf of studentsPatient educationPerform CLIA waived lab test and other lab dutiesSupervise student nursesSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

Education / Licensure

·Bachelor or Nursing degree is required

·CPR and TB Certification is helpful

·Current Indiana Nursing License


·Must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

·Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures

·3-5 years of nursing experience

· Strong assessment skills

· Computer skills

· Communicator
