Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:

Under general supervision support the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Executive Committee. As a part of TSU’s compliance with our accrediting body, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools-Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC) the University has developed a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) that is focused on enhancing business processes and student learning. Our QEP titled “14 Plays in 45 Days: Addressing the Whole Student from Application to Graduation” has very distinct project level goals, such as improving persistence and graduation rates. These goals will be made possible by more detailed implementation level processes and outcomes developed within key areas that support our students. This includes working very closely with the key academic, academic support and administrative areas to enhance and monitor QEP assessment measures and align these measures with existing strategic plans and general departmental assessments. This also includes regularly meeting with key areas, assisting with reporting data findings and developing plans for continuous improvements. Each of these areas have key leaders (Quarterbacks) that have been collaborating with the QEP Executive Committee to continue the work of monitoring measurable outcomes and target attainment for which action plans will continually be established. The QEP Coordinator of Assessment will also monitor and report on the assessment timeline to ensure assessment plan completion in the required timeframe.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
Ability to comprehensively analyze data, reports assessment findings and present status of assessment measures to key university personnel. Provide clear communication and expectations of key leaders (Quarterbacks) regarding QEP business process and student learning measures.

Essential Duties Summary:

•Completes work begun by the QEP Executive Committee. Works with key areas to enhance and monitor the QEP assessment measures.
•Regularly meets with key areas, monitors the progress of the assessment measures, reporting data findings and assists areas with developing action plans for continuous improvements.
•Coordinates required training to make sure areas understand how to maintain consistency within the QEP as well as align business processes within the overall University’s Strategic Plan: TSU Vision 2022. The QEP includes 14 plays, which all have embedded outcomes and/or activities that will be measured.
•Coordinates a systematic means of evaluating current levels of functioning and developing measurable strategies to promote continuous improvement.
•Assists with aligning QEP measurements with the University’s Strategic Plan and departmental assessment plans.
•Coordinates the management of using an online assessment repository to store QEP assessment plans.
•Conducts assessment trainings for academic, support and administrative areas. Be available for follow-up customized department training and working sessions.
•Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

$55,513.00 - $69,392.00
